Just-posted review for our show at LAUNCH in Lancaster, PA. As the reviewer mentions, the weather was fairly epic, and while electrocution might make for some interesting visual effects, it wasn’t exactly what we were aiming for that evening. So we feel fortunate to have gotten through our set unscathed, and even more fortunate to have had this excellent review written about us!

And now, at long last, I present to you the music video for “Devil in the Details!” I am proud to have worked with SKINNY a second time- they did an amazing job, and an extra thanks to Devin Flynn, the animating genius who made this all possible. Without further ado:
Well, I’m finally back after 5 days in Austin at SXSW. I knew it was going to be crazy, but I don’t think I had any idea HOW crazy. After three of our shows, a zillion other bands’ shows, some excellent people-watching, new friends, and more McDonalds than I care to discuss, I’m in detox mode. The whole thing feels like a blur! KXAN, the Austin NBC news affiliate, was at the airport to catch us at the tail end of our journey. Tune in around :59 to catch a brief interview clip!
If you live in Sacramento or San Francisco, next week is your lucky week! We’ll be hitting up both cities in a whirlwind mini-tour with our friends Lunar Sway and Selena Garcia. Very pleased and honored that Kevin Bronson included “Devil” on his 2009 Playlist, highlighting his top 103 tracks this year on Indie 103.1. Expect a re-mixed/mastered version of the single on the new See Green EP, which will be completed in January. Stay tuned!
Help us close out an excellent 2009 with our last show of the year! We’ll be doing it up proper at the Silverlake Lounge with the excellent Cue the Moon on Thursday, 12/3. Come down around 9pm and let us douse you in holiday spirit(s). Holiday attire please!
Tomorrow night, i’m returning to the Airliner once again for their monthly Go Folk Yourself event. I’m out of airplane metaphors for the time being, but I do hope you’ll come. In for a landing. OK I HAD TO DO IT.
